Monitoring the Local Host

From the startup screen, press the Monitor (localhost) button to start monitoring the PROLIN Power Server instance running on the local host.

Command Buttons

At the top of the screen, the following command buttons are available:

Command Description
Back Navigates back to the startup screen.
Start Server Starts the PROLIN Power Server Windows service.
Stop Server Stops the PROLIN Power Server Windows service.
Refresh Refreshes the monitoring information shown on screen.
Tools / Run Garbage Collector Runs the garbage collector of the running PROLIN Power Server instance. This may free up and compact process memory.
Tools / Debug Mode Sets the log level to DEBUG. Note that enabling this level produces significantly more logging, which may degrade overall performance.

Sections

On the left-hand side of the screen, you can navigate to different sections of monitoring information:

Section Description
Dashboard Displays general server information, runtime environment details, and basic performance metrics.
Services Shows running modules and service endpoints.
Events Displays event log messages.
Connections Shows the current active users and open connections. Note: some clients (e.g., PROLIN Smart Client) may open multiple connections per user.
