System Requirements for PROLIN Power Server
PROLIN Power Server must be installed on a machine meeting the following minimum system requirements:
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server 2012 through 2016
- .NET Framework 4.6.1:
- Most likely already pre-installed
- Disk Space: 150 MB of free disk space
- Memory (RAM): Minimum 4 GB
- Processor (CPU): Minimum 2 cores
- Database:
- Oracle 11g through Oracle 19c (Windows and Linux)
- MSSQL 2012 through 2022 (on Windows)
- Note: SIS has not been tested on MSSQL 2019 and Oracle 19c.
- Oracle 11g through Oracle 19c (Windows and Linux)
- Java:
- SDK 8 32-bit for legacy software (on Windows)
- SDK 8 32-bit or 64-bit (preferred) for the Global Search Engine (preferably on a separate server)
- SDK 8 32-bit for legacy software (on Windows)
The computer where PROLIN Power Server will be installed must have a valid licensed version of the Service Desk application server. The application server must be:
- Accessible over the network
- Upgraded to Service Pack SP22 or higher (SP39 or higher is recommended)
Global Search Feature Requirements
To enable the Global Search feature, the following are required:
- A separate server with at least 4 GB RAM (8 GB or more recommended)
- Windows Server 2012 through 2016
- A large amount of free disk space
- Java JDK 8 update 66 or higher
Note: The Power Server distribution includes an installer for Global Search for Windows Server, but the Global Search Engine can also run on Linux.
